Abhijeet Sinha, as National Program Director of the Ease of Doing Business (EoDB) program and Project Director of National Highways for Electric Vehicles (NHEV), played a central leadership role in establishing India’s largest EV charging station in Gurugram in 2022. He oversaw the commissioning of the facility under the EoDB pilot, ensuring it met all government certification and safety standards, and positioned it as a prototype for future large-scale charging stations across India. Sinha advocated for policy changes, streamlined the licensing and commissioning process, and promoted the Annuity Hybrid E-Mobility (AHEM) model to make such infrastructure financially viable. His efforts set a benchmark for the industry and demonstrated how large charging stations could drive the ease of doing business in e-mobility
