Cultural Economy

The Cultural Economy refers to the economic value created from a nation’s heritage, traditions, knowledge systems, and cultural identity – elements that shape how societies produce, consume, innovate, and grow. For Bharat, it represents the revival of a civilisational foundation that once powered thriving global trade, craftsmanship, and intellectual leadership. Today, as India accelerates toward becoming the 4th largest economy, rebuilding a strong Cultural Economy is essential for sustainable growth, social confidence, and national competitiveness. It ensures that economic advancement is not disconnected from cultural sovereignty, enabling a model where development, identity, and heritage move together. Ease of Doing Business is working to bring like-minded thinkers and builders together to strengthen this mission, with initiatives expected to go live in 2026.
